[SAVE THE DATE] Conference on Construction Contracts and Dispute Resolution: Effective Construction Cost Management and Prevention of Payment Disputes

Following the success of the 2024 event, the Society of Construction Law -Vietnam (SCLVN) and Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VIAC) will co-host the Conference On Construction Contract And Dispute Resolutions (CCCDR 2025).

The Conference on Construction Contracts and Dispute Resolution (CCCDR) is an annual event co-organised by the Society of Construction Law – Vietnam (SCLVN) by SCLVN and the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC). CCCDR has brought together construction enterprises, legal experts and practitioners to share knowledge on critical issues and promote best practices in the construction industry.

Building on the success of previous years, the Conference on Construction Contracts and Dispute Resolution (CCCDR 2025) will focus on “Effective Construction Cost Management and Prevention of Payment Disputes.” Cost control is a continuous management activity throughout the entire construction investment process, aimed at ensuring the effectiveness of the project and delivering benefits to both the investor and the contractor. Due to the nature and characteristics of construction products, cost and cash flow control play a crucial role during project implementation, and disputes arising from breaches of payment obligations are among the most common types of construction-related disputes. Thus, for construction projects, particularly complex projects, cost control and the negotiation and management of contractual payment terms require special attention.
